What’s going on in your mind? Do you find yourself in constant anxiety and blame _____? Fill in the blank with whatever…or do the variety of life’s storms and rabbit trails leave you (relatively) unaffected, steadfast in your peace.

I’ve thought often about humans’ limited abilities and felt an inner ache for more. We’re told we use about 10% of our brain…90% of our DNA is dormant, science refers to it as junk because they don’t see a function today. We see a very limited amount of available light as well as sound frequencies. I believe some prefer us to remain limited in our capacity…continuing to exchange time for money and consume more goods and services than we need…keeping us distracted through endless entertainment.

Absolutely if a question is sincere there are no bad questions…although, these two keep coming up and for me go into the silly question category.

1. Aren’t you afraid of living in Mexico
2. Do you really believe in aliens

I have modified my answer to the first…there is no fear but daily concern, why you ask. Because most Mexicans are not 6 ft. tall, I constantly have to watch out for low-hanging products for sale, and those awnings can wipe you out! The sidewalks can be treacherous with ramps, holes, strange stairs, and rain trenches…so yes, I have a daily concern.

This week I received a request to give my definition of Source, first a little history of why I and others use the term rather than God.

Undoubtedly shifting from the evangelical picture of “God” to the thought of being created by “aliens” was the most painful transition for me as a seeker of truth. What of The Bible creation story I believed to be true…what about Father God, Papa?

Again, I urge you to Google and read The Atrahasis, The Epic of Gilgamesh, and the Enuma Elish for a better understanding but I’ll summarize the roles of a few key players in our history and then I’ll expand on Source, The One, The All, The Universe, The Creator of all…all interchangeable names used frequently for the Devine.

 The lie of separation;

The idea that the color of our skin makes us different,  that our nationality makes us different, that our political party makes us different, economic comfort zones, and the biggest lie The Creator of All is out there somewhere angry and or disappointed in humanity. If you are a  person of faith there's the separation of denominations (divided nations), and New Agers do you look down on another path as inferior...

Why do we focus on the outside circumstances as we freely pass our judgements, rather than realize I am one individual human on this planet at this time and I am connected to all because everything comes from the same Cosmic Source. As the song says...Where is the Love?
